He was never the kid that swung the highest
But she loved him the most.
Now she watches as he struggles
And she sees him fall.

He was never the kid that swung the highest
and now she weeps because she loves him the most.

8/18/2005 11:19:00 PM - coolnes

In my everlasting quest to attain coolness, I didn't capitalize the title and spelled it with one 's.' Pretty cool, huh? Also, I will post this link, to a very cool website I found while coolly surfing the web. Now dear readers,
Peace and Love
A to the hizzle.

The Day I Died

Lie, My darling quiet, stilled
In thy tainted Elysium.
Unmoved yet nimble, warmly chilled.
All now is lost; simply succumb!

Let thy spirit to the winds,
Breathe for me that final breath-
Thine eternity now begins-
Embrace the victor - Cruél Death.

So pale, so young, so majestic
In these final moments, thou!
And yet so sick, so horribly sick!
Soon thou must unto dear Death bow.

See her! She goes; no longer holds
My shivering hands, covered with tears.
She's stiller still and growing cold,
Carried by angels, she disappears.

8/06/2005 12:48:00 AM -

Dearest Maria,
The days keep rolling on. I have lost all sense of time or date. I am become but a grain of sand in God's mighty ocean, tossed about by thundering waves crashing and braking on me day and night. I have lost all hopes save one - seeing your blessed smile one last time; running my shivering fingers through your majestic titian hair. That keeps me going on, alive yet dead. Without you, all is worthless. I eat but hunger still. I drink but am always athirst. I cry and my sorrows multiply. A million lonely tears have caused a flood to come over my fainting heart. I drown in its anguish, my memories of you weighing me down into the great darkness of the deep. There, I befriends the dead, the drowned pirates, the sands of time that come and go but never remain. I sleep but never do I rest. I wake up daily even less refreshed. Thus is life without you, my Maria. How can cruel fate separate two lovers so? And where is the mercy of the times of old gone, where the peace of our fathers?
Our front has seen too many disasters, endured endless slaughters and hardships. We find ourselves haunted by shells and bullets, and worst of all, Mustard Gas. This war shall last forever. But, when forever ends, I hope I shall remain, to see you once and rest, to quench my thirst and hunger, to ease my sorrow.
Until then my angel,
Your Alfonso

8/05/2005 01:39:00 AM - Diaries of a Madman

A beloved portion from the diaries...

Calm the hand that writes this rhyme,
This great melody frozen in time.
A troublesome riddle that hides a name
Is hidden in these words that came
To me so eloquently; the riddle tells
Of HER, the one receiving it. It spells
The name in a spell supreme.
Look! The lines so clearly show it; though it doesn't seem
Obvious. A genius trick is this... Begin
By reading... Holding on to every letter found within.
Search my beautiful words, consider every syllable.
A Gordian Knot is not here hid; it's comprehensible.
Oh! Do not forget to question any trivial words.
I repeat, a Gordian Knot this trick is not, no need for swords.
Admit it! You can't see the solution...
The key to solving such mysteries is hidden in confusion.

Comment if you know the answer.
