12/25/2004 03:08:00 PM -

Canoe

Let’s ride this fragile canoe
The distance of ten horizons
Until we land on a desolate island.

We’ll simply drift on the turbulent sea,
Carelessly in love, lost under the moon,
Until we reach our unknown destination.

At night, our untroubled footprints,
Eternally etched in the sand,
Would meet, as the tides look on.

The moon would grin, watching…
The salty breeze would rush through your hair.
The waves would wet our feet.

Then, smiling, we’d share the majestic view,
Waiting until the jealous sun drives away
The moon and its reflection on the sea.

12/25/2004 01:41:00 PM - Funny Present (cousin remix)

I'd like to start off by saying the "rot and burn thing (look below) were just jokes. The rest of the stuff wasn't though.
Alright! so I got a new mp3 CD player for Christmas, and I was reading the manual. I found a place that tells you how loud your music should be, according to your place/activity. It's helpful and funny.

Level Example
------------------------------
30 Quiet library, soft whispers.
40 Living room, refrigerator, bedroom away from traffic.
50 Light traffic, normal conversation, quiet office.
60 A/C at 20 feet, sewing machine.
70 Vaccum cleaner, hair dryer, noisy restaurant.
80 Average city traffic, garbage disposal, alarm clock at 2 ft.
THE FOLLOWING NOISES CAN BE DANGEROUS UNDER CONSTANT EXPOSURE
90 Subway, motorcycle, truck traffic, lawn mower.
100 Garbage truck, chain saw, pnuematic drill.
120 Rock band concert in front of speakers, thunderclap.
140 Gunshot blast, jet plane.
180 Rocket launching pad.

Was the 140 one for terrorists??? Me and Sarah are the only ones who thought of that. Sarah says "we should sue Sony because of terrorist implications." I agree. We'd get a nates-load of money. Look "nates" up in the dictionary. Awesome!

Now, au revoir,
Adonis, ft. Sarah

12/21/2004 10:23:00 PM - Because You Love Me

I, poorest of all men,
Am greatest by far because you love me.
My only talent is that of the pen,
But excel in all things because you love me.

I, though lonely at first,
Am happiest on earth because you love me.
I, who was broken, imperfect, and dead,
Am lively and perfect, because you love me.

I, though speechless and dumb,
Have excess to say because you love me.
I was once tearful and scared without love,
Now fearless of death am, because you love me.

Adonis.

I'm in love with the awesomest person on earth. I'm an insomniac. I'm a maniac. I'm loosing my mind, my grades at school are plumeting, but I'm the happiest person on Earth. That's why I wrote this poem.

12/20/2004 02:29:00 AM - I know.

She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. She loves me. She loves me not. Oh man, I'm out of petals. It's OK, 'cause I know she loves me. I know.

12/19/2004 11:03:00 PM - Answer to "Depart"

Alright... me and my love cici wrote an answer to "Depart." (see below) Cici felt it needed an answer, and je agreed. And cici is an idea man. Err.... woman. Wait. Yeah, woman. We cleverly entitled it "Tearfully..." as we felt the speaker is answering their lover, who's asking them to depart and accusing them of lying, with tearful sobs. Enjoy.

Tearfully...

My darling, words were never lies.
I never departed! What shielded your eyes?
Look around your so-called tomb and see:
I never left you lonesome, for you are here with me.
I shall never leave my love to turn into dust.
Nor my open, golden heart to fragment and to rust.
My darling, “death shall do us part”
That thought should overwhelm our heart.
For you, to me, are breath and life,
And therefore I can ne’er depart.

12/17/2004 07:17:00 PM - Love

Love is but meaningless words
Spoken lightly by tender,
Rose lips.

Love is hatred and trickery.
Love is formless emotions,
Unknown to all.

Love is cause of chaos,
Reason of madness and
Motive of death.

Love is a lie believed by fools:
Those of imaginative, naïve, and
Innocent minds.

Love is a laughable diadem
Worn by enchantresses,
Bewitching simpletons.

12/11/2004 08:58:00 AM - Depart!

"Till death shall do us part,
And darkness dim our eyes."
I knew it from the very start...
Deciphered all your lies.
Now, if you will, depart,
And leave me all alone.
Till death shall end my dour cries
This empty room shall be my tomb.

12/11/2004 03:08:00 AM - Rules

Rule # 1: Don't say anything you don't know how to say.
Rule # 2: Stop being so sarcastic. It pisses everyone off (or so I hear).
Rule #3: Look good. Always.
Rule #4: Whenever, wherever, maintain control of the situation and of yourself.
Rule # 5: Apologize for your stupidities sincerely.
Rule # 6: Don't use violence unless thoroughly provoked.
Rule # 7: In certain instances, you must scratch Rule # 6.
Rule # 8: Family comes first. Then Friends.
Rule # 9: Never ever underestimate yourself.
Rule # 10: Maintain civility under all circumstances.
Rule # 11: Treat other people respectfully, unless.*
Rule # 12: Never give a gift unless it's from the heart and it's nicely wrapped. Opening a gift is half the fun.
Rule # 13: Never change your opinion just because it hurts someone.
Rule # 14: Never order Jello in a 5 star restaurant.
Rule # 15: Don't look like a jerk on any ID cards.
Rule # 16: If unable to remember names, jot them down. It's rude to forget peoples names.
Rule # 17: Never consider baseball as "fun."
Rule # 18: "I respectfully disagree with your opinion, but will fight to the death for your right to say it." -Voltaire

Enough said.

*Unless they start something. And then, it's on.

12/06/2004 01:19:00 AM - Shadows and Dust

Are you ever like me:
In a cage far away thinking
About a beautiful, beautiful scene
With you and an Unknown?
An X. Incognito. Shadow. Anonimity.
It smiles to you, but Its face is hidden.
Concealed by Shadows and Dust.

Do you ever sit, contemplating
That face that could be
As beautiful as Lightning
Or as Frightening as Thunder;
As dazlling as Icicles,
Or as cold as Snow?

Do you ever consider It:
Winking; Laughing; even Crying?

I also imagine drops of sweat on It's forehead;
Shivering even, from time to time.
I imagine It Singing;
I imagine Its rage and pacifism.
All of Its feelings I know.
Its emotions I've memorized.
All, but Her face still shuns me.

12/02/2004 11:30:00 PM - Pomegranates

I love pomegranates. I think they're absolutely delicious.
I hate it, though, when people are pomegranates. You know, they're good, but they're so freaking tough to handle. If you say or do anything wrong to them they get sour and bitter. Just like eating the white stuff instead of the red stuff. I hate the fact that they have so many sections... and you have to go through all of them to fully understand these people. Oh, and don't get me started about the stains... Any strongly misapplied squeeze will stain you for a long time, while injuring them.
The fruits are stupendous, but the people are horrendous.
