So here it goes, an attempt to put some of these poetic ideas in writing. I call it Verse to Janitor.
He toils and cleanses, humble,
His touch: precise and gentle.
He dusts and wipes and swiftly sweeps
Removing dirt in heaps and heaps.
To us he does not seem too smart
But mopping truly is an art
Watch: his mop is a large brush;
Simply stroking - in no rush-
He paints on a floor that was a mess
The perfect painting - Pure Cleanliness.
He toils and cleanses, humble,
His touch: precise and gentle.
So there it was, and it celebrates my new work. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
